About Me
THERAPY, COACHING
Angela DeGenova, LCMHC
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire, with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Roger Williams University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Bridgeport. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals facing a variety of challenges including substance abuse, parenting struggles, families navigating DCYF involvement, and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. I’m dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care to help people overcome obstacles, find balance, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Outside of my professional work, I’m passionate about creativity, fitness, and spending quality time with family and friends. Whether it's working on a new project, staying active, or enjoying moments with those closest to me, I value the importance of maintaining a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle
My approach is built on empathy, humor, and evidence-based practices, but it’s also rooted in real, human connection. In our time together, we’ll talk openly and honestly about what’s going on for you—no matter how difficult or painful that may feel. There’s no “right” way to feel, and there’s no timeline for healing. I’m here to meet you where you are. Whether you’re struggling with the relentless grip of anxiety, the emptiness of depression, the scars of past trauma, or the cycle of addiction, it’s easy to feel like you’re facing it all alone. But here’s the truth: You’re not alone. And more importantly, you don’t have to stay stuck.
